When it was founded about 40 years ago, Café Loetje was intended to become a successful billiard café. Then Ludwig 'Loetje' Klinkhamer made a fortunate mistake by putting his tenderloin steak on the map. Soon the place was full of lovers of the best steak who wondered why billiards got in the way.
